Published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine and released on The Globe and Mail's website on September 25, 2026, this year's ranking lists 375 Canadian companies by their three-year revenue growth from 2022 to 2025. It is the eighth annual edition of the list.
GAM Tech ranked #267 overall, with 95% revenue growth over three years, and #61 in the Technology and Telecom category a segment famous for churn.
But the number that matters most isn't the ranking. It's the three.
What The Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies ranking measures
The Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies list, published annually in Report on Business magazine since 2019, ranks Canadian companies strictly on three-year revenue growth. Every year the qualifying revenue threshold moves, the pool of applicants grows, and most previous winners don't make the list again.
Sustained multi-year appearances on a revenue-growth ranking are a client-retention metric wearing a growth-metric costume. Companies with real client-retention problems can spike, but they cannot hold. Three consecutive years on the list means the same customers are renewing, expanding, and referring year after year.
In our category Technology and Telecom, where managed IT service provider (MSP) churn is a well-documented industry challenge that pattern is rare.
What actually drove 95% revenue growth over three years
Since 2022, four things have compounded:
1. Cybersecurity moved from optional to essential for Canadian SMBs
Canadian small and mid-sized businesses lived through a wave of high-visibility breaches, ransomware incidents, and supply-chain compromises. The mid-market response was to stop treating security as a cost line and start treating it as an operational requirement.
